Dolma

Dolma - cuisine of the Caucasus and southern Eurasia. In Russia it is not particularly popular as a barbecue or pilaf.
It happened that the great-grandparents of my mother were Old Believers and their exiled to the Caucasus regions. And of course, in our family were preparing a number of dishes of local residents. But the favorite dish of my childhood was Dolma. Recipes of cooking a lot.

But since I do not like to mess around for a long time in the kitchen, I chose for yourself is very easy and simple option.
To prepare necessary
  • Grape leaves 20 units. I use a pickle;
  • Minced meat (beef, pork) to taste 500 grams;
  • 100 grams of rice;
  • Salt to taste;
  • Ground black pepper to taste;
  • Seasonings, herbs, too, to taste.
Wash rice, mix with stuffing. Add salt, pepper and spices. Tighten in grape leaves. Fold in the cast-iron pot, add boiling water and cook over low heat for 25 minutes. Serve with sour cream or milk products.
