- 2 lb (1 kg) stewing beef cubes
- 3-4 potatoes, peeled and cut
- 3 carrots, cut
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 cups (500 ml) beef stock
- 2 sticks celery, chopped
- 6 - 7 mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup frozen peas (250ml)
- 1 can (156 ml) tomato paste
- 2 tsp (10 ml) Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 cup of red wine
- 1 tbs rosemary
- salt, pepper to taste
Alright! You got everything, it's on your table right now...so...everything is really simple! just put everything together into a large saucepan or Dutch oven over a medium heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
Or there is another way...if you are the owner of a slow-cooker, just put everything together in there and leave on LOW for 8-10 hours (or leave on HIGH for 4-6 hours).
